SEO and content marketing will be separated – The terms content marketing and SEO have often been confused for one another, mainly because of how huge their overlap is. This year, however, is going to see a change. The two terms are going to be separated for once, with SEO focusing on the more technical side of online marketing, and content marketing on driving search engine rankings.

The Evolution of Semantic Searches and SEO

Undeniably, Google has become an integral part of every person’s life, and they turn to this search engine to look for what they need: new shoes, computer units, or phones, movie or theater tickets, and so much more. Now, however, people are becoming more specific in keying in what they need, and Google has shaped and reformed itself again through new algorithms to provide them the information they seek, thus the concept of semantic searches.

Semantic searches is defined as a data searching technique which aims not only to find keywords but to also determine the intent and contextual meaning of the words a person is using in a search. Simply put, a semantic search is expected to yield results which a person has explicitly asked for, thus giving industries a chance to provide accurate information.
